Hubby and I had the 2 plain wings, 2 fish, fries and a drink combo. The food was fried to perfection but lacked flavor. They seemed to be understaffed which I’m sure was the reason for the long wait at the drive thru BUT Very popular place, a lot of cars coming and going as we sat in our car and ate. Throw a lil Old bay on that thing lol. That is all.
Best hot dogs in the area. Affordable, tasty, and a home town feel when dining in. Very clean. Will be back when I crave a hot dog!
I got the catfish sandwich meal and also some mac and cheese to try since it was my first time eating here. The catfish was cooked to perfection The fries weren’t salted, but still good. So if ordering fries you may have to ask for salt or just add it on yourself. The mac and cheese was okay, but could use more cheese. It had more of a plain noodle taste with cheese if that makes any sense lol. Overall I’ll definitely be going back!
The cheeseburgers and hot dogs at this place are truly amazing for the price and being a to go restaurant. It's just like you cook your own juicy burger at home. Good price menu.
I stay in Charlotte but whenever I drive to Raleigh I MUST PIT STOP HERE....10/10 local gem! This week I came 2x lol I feel so fat but damn it’s good !!! Lemonade is a must no question... only dislike is Mac n cheese take that off menu lol everything else golden
Great place to get hot dogs, burgers, chicken, wings, barbecue, and, get this, catfish!! I love places like Jimmy's, kinda unassuming from the outside and great food served inside! The staff is very friendly and helpful, helping first time customers decide what they may want. Jimmy's served several kinda of hot dogs, beef, pork, Nathan's, which will satisfy anything cravings. I got the #1 combo, two hot dogs, "all the way" and was not disappointed. The fries and great and expertly cooked. I heard the catfish was really good. However, Jimmy's being "famous" for hot dogs I was hesitant to get it. I did have a chance to try the catfish and just say I will get catfish the next time I visit Jimmy's. This is a must-go place. I will be back!
I really enjoyed their fried catfish. I have stopped by multiple times to get the fried catfish sandwich which comes with cole slaw and tartar sauce. The buns came toasted as well. The service was quick, the staff members were friendly, and the price was decent. Plenty of seatings inside.
Ordered the catfish, fries, chili dogs and fried wings. All cooked to order! All delicious! Love the fried flavors Satisfied our craving for hot dogs and the staff was great. Our little ones enjoyed taking photos with the hot dog statue. This location was clean and easy to find situated on a corner lot right off the freeway.
